The Smoky Hill Metropolitan District is a tax based district of Colorado that coincides with the boundaries of the Smoky Hill 400 subdivision. Their charter is to maintain the common areas of the neighborhood, to include all greenbelts, parks, and recreational facilities of the subdivision. Portions of property taxes collected by the state of Colorado are allocated to the Metro District.
