Monthly Board of Directors Meeting
April 10, 2007
President Myers called the monthly Board of Directors meeting to order
at 7:23 P.M.
- Jerry Marshall motioned to accept
the minutes from the March 2007 BOD meeting. The motion was seconded and approved. Caryn Winkler
abstained
- Dave
Lewsader introduced Steve Pulford who is the new Metro District Operations
Manager. They both discussed the plans for up coming projects. Check Metro
District website for details.
- CPS
presented financial reports.
Following discussion, Jerry Marshall motioned to accept the
financial report subject to audit.
The motion was seconded and approved. The reports are available on
the HOA’s website at www.smokyhillhoa.net.
- CPS
presented their covenant enforcement activities for the month of March.
- Jerry
Marshall motioned to pay outstanding bills for the month of March. The motion was seconded and approved.
- Welcome letters were sent to 5 new owners
- C. J. Whelan attended the CENCON meeting. The
CENCON website has information regarding the meeting.
- ARC-- Jerry Marshall reported on
the committee activities for the month of March.
- Discussion of the upcoming Annual Dumpster
Rally confirmed the date as Saturday, May 19h. The dumpsters will be available at 8:00
A. M. and will conclude at 3:00 P.M.
CPS was directed to coordinate, not to exceed the annual budget.
Caryn Winkler made a motion to approve that Heidi Markey may spent up to
$50 for items to be given as prizes to the “Clean Up Day” participants The
motion was seconded and approved.
- C. J. Whelan discussed the proposed covenant
signs for the Smoky Hill Neighborhood. Following lengthy discussion Caryn
Winkler made a motion to approve funding for 3 “covenant community” signs
in an amount not to exceed $4,000. The motion was seconded and approved.

Caryn Winkler made a motion to approve the renewal
of the Architectural Review Committee for the upcoming year. Motion was
seconded and approved.
- Jerry Marshall made a motion to adjourn the Board
meeting. The motion was seconded,
and the meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
